The Balancing Colours of Autumn

This is a beautiful time of year in this part of the country.  We have the colours of Autumn in all their glory.  The Maples turn orange and red.  The Birch turns yellow.  The Oak turns shades of red and brown.  The Pine and the Cedar turn beautiful shades of rust.

The colours always remind me of the colours of the Chakras, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and white.  I find this a very balancing time of year.  The purple of course can be found in the evening sky on certain nights and the blue and white are the sky and the clouds.

The balancing also comes from the realization that everything is in a state of change and no matter how sad it is to see the brilliance of the summer season pass it is reassuring to know that we are moving into this season of rest and restoration.

So enjoy the colours while we they are the most brilliant and continue to refresh your soul with the “bits” of colour we will find over the Autumn.  Rest and restore yourself.
